Our go to place for dim sum brunch !! It never fails to satisfy our dim sum cravings and we love that they have lots of pescatarian options. Love most of their dumplings from the steam section. Tip: Try their weekend brunch. Parking can be a challenge during busy hours. Suggestion: would love to see some hand pulled noodles or lamb soup dumplings on the menu :)

We had a fantastic culinary experience at this establishment. It was the best way we could've introduced my mom to Texas. The ambience is very clean, well lit, with a beautiful east Asian inspired rustic interior and a beautiful bar where you can sit for alcoholic drinks if you desire . The staff was very friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu . As you can see, we got a smorgasbord of food. We wanted to try a little bit of everything. Everything was delicious. I could tell the people in the kitchen know how to cook because the meat was always tender, and never too dry, which many restaurants make the tragic mistake of doing. My favorite dish was the duck. I've never had anything so delicious. And the alcoholic beverages are so creative and refreshing. For dessert, we brought home the Ube cheesecake and the chocolate bulldog. Both were immaculately creamy and flavorful. I have a pretty good eye for cooking and I like to think that I have good taste. These desserts were made with the finest ingredients and freshness in mind. For our next celebration, we will be back ...

Food - 4.5 stars Service - 4 stars Ambiance - 4 stars. Another overcrowded space with tables way too close together, but overall the aesthetics are nice. All of this chef's concepts are delicious! The pork soup dumpling, which she is known for, is not overrated! The orange beef is a traditional Chinese dish, but this one is the best! Dim sum brunch is also the way to go! If there is not any parking, which is limited, behind the restaurant, street parking can be difficult to find. That is the only real drawback to dining here. Highly recommend.

All the dishes we ordered were very good. The waitress was nice and attentive. The restaurant has a good mixture of eastern and western ambiance. It's on the expensive side for sure, but they deliver the quality. Ube cheesecake is a bit too sweet for Asian dessert, but for American standard it's just perfect. It comes with a piece of gold on top.

Lins will never disappoint. The best soup dumplings in all of Austin, not debatable in my opinion. I moved and now am in walking distance and seriously me and my boyfriend cannot get enough. Must order - soup dumplings ( I recommended getting multiple orders I seriously eat one order myself), Beef Lo mein, orange chicken and sesame are both good options! Chicken is cooked to perfection crispy and juicy. Star of the show will always be the soup dumplings. Piping hot when they come out so I recommend letting them cool for a bit so you don't get a third degree burn!

Our group of 15 was so impressed with our experience at Lin Asian. Our group was visiting Austin for an event and decided to make a reservation for Dim Sum based on the reviews and recommendations we read. Lin's did not disappoint. We had reservations, but it was pretty busy when we arrived and had to wait 10-15 minutes for our table. This wasn't an issue since we had a large group, we assumed we'd have to wait a bit to get our table ready. When we were seated, we were treated to a private dining room, which was a perfect size for our large group. It was a perfect space where we could enjoy the meal and have a good time. The wait staff were all really helpful and attentive to our requests, it's never easy to wait on a large group, and they did it flawlessly. We ordered family style and shared everything. It feels like we ordered the entire menu, but our waitress helped us work through our decisions so that we didn't get too crazy! We probably ordered around 15-20 different dim sum items, along with 3-4 noodle, rice, and a fish entree. There were definitely some favorites for everyone, but the general consensus was the meal was perfect. I personally really enjoyed the soup dumplings and the pork congee. The chicken lo mein was also very good. The food was an interesting mix of traditional dim sum items along with some fusion take on dim sum, without going too far. Our group was in agreement, that we'd return again individually or a group in the future. I'd highly recommend Lin Asian for anyone in Austin looking for great dim sum/Chinese food.

My fiends and I had high expectations for this restaurant when we went due to all the glowing reviews on IG! Plus, we were ready to eat after our 3 hour hike. However, this place didn't really live up to our expectations so it was a 3.5 star. However, I am raising it to 4 since it's one of the only dim sum places in Austin and it's unfair to compare it to the dim sum scene in Houston or Hong Kong Food: Austin-fication of Dim Sum The best way to put it was that the dim sum had an Austin flare. While they tried to put a unique spin on traditional dim sum it didn't always hit its mark taste wise since I'm so use to the Cantonese flavor of dim sum. However, some good points was that the skin were pretty thin which is a good thing. I also love that they have sugarcane crab since I haven't seen this dish in a while! Some thing that left a bad impression was that the Sui Mai's texture was a bit off and flakey pastry was more doughy then flakey Presentation: The food was very instagram able! Ambience: The restaurant was really cute and I loved how the tables were set up!
